ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION (OPTIONAL):
As the arena lights go down, haunting guitar strums play out through the speakers as the opening notes to Garbage's 'Not Your Kind of People' ring out through the speakers. The 'tron displays a desert horizon, a sunset as a bloodied hand sits open with a palm full of coins, the hazy coloring bleeding out onto the stage. The entrance ramp lights up with white lights on either side, slowly illuminating a path back to the top we see Danny Avers emerge from backstage, clad in his ring gear and a black leather entrance vest. His manager, Jane Doe, takes his vest off as he steps down the ramp, barking vitriol at fans as they draw closer or taunt him. He approaches the ring, pulling himself up onto the apron and giving a cold stare as he holds the middle ropes open for Jane to enter, before entering himself. As Avers enters the center of the ring, a spotlight hits him, and she 'introduces' him before he steps up to the ropes on the hard camera's side, making aggressive threats toward the camera before rolling down and into the center of the ring, pacing as he waits for his opponent.

The arena lights go down, and as the haunting guitar strums to 'Not Your Kind of People' ring out, we see the lights on the entrance ramp that typically light up white now alternating white and gold. The 'tron displays the same bloodied hand and sunset, but the coloring is...off. The hand is clenched around the coins, with twitches of movement, and we can see, in the distance, a figure walking away.

Suddenly, the entrance ramp's doors burst open with fog and smoke, and, through the cloud, we can see gold and white lights flashing on and off, silhouetting Danny Avers as he emerges. With the [insert championship name here] over his right shoulder, Avers wears a cocky grin on his face. His manager rubs his shoulders before he hands the championship off to her, taunting the fans as he walks down toward the ring. Doe holds the championship high behind Avers, and as Avers steps up onto the apron, he grabs the belt again and holds it up in one hand by the strap, a sick grin on his face as he steps on the rope to allow Doe entry. He passes the belt back to her, and then enters the ring, once again posturing as he waits for his opponent.

GIMMICK: Ruthless 'collector' of various debts throughout the wrestling world. Avers views himself as 'inevitable', the unstoppable payment for the so-called sins committed by others throughout the wrestling world. To Avers, every person who's stepped between the four ropes of a squared circle has bogged themselves down in sin-it's just a matter of how heavy their debts weigh upon them. Make no mistake-everyone has a price, and Avers has come to collect.  

FAVORITE MATCH TYPE: No-disqualification or hardcore matches, which allow Avers to inflict a great deal of pain upon his opponents.

LEAST FAVORITE MATCH TYPE: Submission matches or anything requiring him to rely on his ground game, which is not nearly as practiced especially against stronger ground-based technical competitors.

WEAPON OF CHOICE: Avers favors a chain or rope, which he'll use both to augment his strikes and choke opponents out. Typically, in no-disqualification matches, Avers will come to the ring with a length of chain to use in said matches.

Arm Based Offense: Not the most gifted wrestler, but he can throw a punch. Punches, chops, haymakers, hammer fists, sucker punches, elbows, forearms.-anything's fair game for Avers.

Leg Based Offense: Not the most gifted wrestler, but he can throw a kick or knee. Often uses front kicks, roundhouse kicks, and knee lifts or running knee strikes to nail an opponent with his immense bulk.

Power-based Offense: Avers' most notable asset is his size. Through this, he's able to use his immense strength to overpower opponents, often coming out in the form of powerbombs, slams, spinebusters, and other power moves.

Throwing Game: Surprise, surprise, Avers likes a good suplex too. He most notably prefers the Butterfly Suplex due to combinations he's learned to hone, but he'll often throw in a German or a Snap Suplex for good measure. Notably, not great at bridging, so often he won't try.

Like A Fucking Train: Avers' size allows him to hit like a freight truck, so he'll often throw all caution to the wind and throw himself at his opponent. Running elbows, forearms, lariats, boots, and others are common assets of his arsenal. Often, he'll utilize his bulk to throw a spear or shoulder block at an opponent to take them to the ground, as well.

Holds and Submissions: While not the most gifted wrestler, Avers knows how to lock in a choke tight. He'll often utilize the Sleeper Hold in situations where an opponent just can't seem to fucking go down, although he'll rarely use it to finish a match. Instead, he'll choke the shit out of them and use that to set up for another of his finishes.

Cheating: Avers is not foreign to the concept of cheating. Low blows, eye rakes, utilization of the environment and other tools of war are all fair tricks for the Debt Collector..

Environmental Assistance: Like many, Avers knows the environment in and around the ring can help him secure a win, so he'll often go for dangerous moves (to his opponent) on the outside to cause grave damage. Slams, suplexes, and throws onto the apron or into the ring post are common moves for Avers.

Pins: While not the most practiced at heavy holds, Avers knows that his bulk and strength allow him to hold an opponent down for a pin even if he can't quite get a hold locked in.

1. 'GL;YF'

Avers will drag an opponent down to the canvas with a snapmare, then a chop to the back of the head, usually stunning them long enough to hit the ropes for a stiff penalty kick to the jaw, usually with the goal of knocking more than a couple teeth out.

2. 'The Classic'

After a barrage of strikes, Avers will trap an opponent in a half-hatch and repeatedly drive his knee into their skull. While not often resulting in a knock-out, Avers will dump the stunned opponent into a standing position and use this to set up for his 'Rest In Piss'.

3. 'Collector's Crush'

Avers will haul an opponent up in the air and lock in a Torture Rack, which he will use to do some damage to their back before dropping down into a Torture Rack Backbreaker.

4. 'Something Borrowed'

Double Underhook Powerbomb dropped onto the knee.

5. 'Something New'

Double Underhook Backbreaker, shoved off into a waistlock into a High Angle Spiking German Suplex.

1. 'Rest In Piss'

Northern/Enzu Lariat to the back of the head, often done out of nowhere or following a lariat feint. Avers will sometimes combine this with a Low Blow for a variation he calls the Sucker Shot.

2. 'Pay Window'

After working over the back or when an opening presents itself, Avers will drop an opponent to the canvas and go for a Single Leg Boston Crab, often pressing his knee into the opponent's lower back to force a tap. If, while keeping the hold, the opponent resists, Avers will stomp on their head until either the opponent is knocked out or taps out.

3. 'Bounty Bomb'

Avers grabs his opponent's wrist and hauls them high onto his shoulders before dropping them in a modified Fisherman's Driver. Think Shingo Takagi's 'Last of the Dragon'.

A star wrestler in high school, Avers looked to be on the path to mainstream success, but a hot temper and a love for alcohol lead to a near-catastrophic encounter with law enforcement that saw all of his prospects go down the drain. Reduced to working odd jobs to make money due to a splotch on his record, Avers thought his prospects were dead, before Victory Pro sought him out and made him an offer. When they shuttered, however, he searched for more and more places, and began expanding through both his violent work ethic and the talents of his manager, Jane Doe. Now, with more bones to break and more bounties coming in, The Debt Collector has come to work once again.
