GIMMICK: Gates is at a spot where he doesn't really know what he wants. This is his first shot at the big leagues. Because of that, Gates just tries to constantly be perfect. He wants to be a champion. He wants to win. He wants to be a leader to everyone. When he wins, he drowns himself in glory. He gets filled with pride, and emotion, that he did it. He didn't disappoint his family. He didn't disappoint his girlfriend. He didn't disappoint himself. But for him, that sometimes doesn't always work out too well. Sometimes he loses. Sometimes he disappoints. Sometimes he does bad things. And he constantly beats himself up for it. He feels as if he disappointed everyone around him. He gets flooded with sadness, and most importantly, anger. This anger can lead him to do bad things. Like cheat in a match. Snap back at his family, or his girlfriend. Or even lash out at a few fans or so. But in the end, no matter what happens... he always tries to get back up.

BIOGRAPHY

Dylan was born on August 9th, 1992, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He had a decent childhood, with nothing specifically wrong. He was fed. He had good parents. Everything was fine. As a child, he loved playing pretend. Y'know, he used to pretend he was Batman, or Sonic, etc. When he was 9, he found out about wrestling, by accidentally putting the wrong channel number when he was trying to find Disney. It immediately caught his eye. He was so interested in the thought of two guys just beating the shit out and the crowd being so invested. The cool costumes. The face paint, the spandex, everything was his style. He had no idea what the future held for him... but he thought to himself... maybe he did. Years and years go by, and year after year he was more and more invested. His Birthday list and Christmas list were always filled with Wrestling Figures or merchandise. Most of his family when realizing he wanted to be a wrestler were concerned. They always said stuff like: "A wrestler? Not a doctor, a lawyer, a game creator... but a wrestler? He might need to find a different job, because that ain't gonna work out." But his parents were always supportive of him. No matter what.

But let's fast forward a little shall we? High school. Dylan met a girl in his class named Elizabeth. Elizabeth McKenzie. She was almost a clone of him. Amazing in her classes. A little bit socially awkward. And she really loved wrestling. Finally, Dylan found "his kind". Someone who loved the sport just as much as he did. After a few months of... awkward conversations and getting closer, the two finally hooked up. The rest was history. They eventually got cars, they got a house, they even got a little dog which they named: Romanoff.

When Dylan finally made it to wrestling in general. Elizabeth, combined with Dylan's parents drove Dylan. They drove him to prove them wrong. And that's what Gates' done... pretty much his entire three year career so far. He wants to prove everyone wrong, and he constantly gets driven by the fact that he needs to be perfect, to prove them wrong. Which, is why he gets disappointed when he fails. Trying to become more desperate, be perfect, especially now, when he's in Project: Honor. He feels like he disappointed Elizabeth. His parents. The fans. But no matter what, he always... ALWAYS finds a way to somehow make it back on top. And you can punch him, kick him, brutalize him... but he will never, step down.
