The beat drops and the bass kicks in, a light teal lighting shines down onto the man who just entered from behind the curtains: Adrian Hil. A mixture of cheers and boos are let out from the crowd, and no matter what noise they’re making, Adrian can’t help but smirk knowing they paid money to see him. He walks down the ramp with a confident stance, smacking away the hands of fans attempting to high-five him. Upon rolling into the ring, the lights go back to normal and Adrian takes a seat on the bottom turnbuckle nearest to him.

GIMMICK: A man who ruins the 'Canadians are nice people' stereotype. An asshole in and out of the ring, you'd think the fans would hate him, but in fact, it's quite the opposite. His unintentional comedy and his soft spot for the fans and some of his co-workers makes him a favorite in the mind of fans. One of the best technical wrestlers of the newer generation, you can tell Hil has spent time perfecting his craft. Whether it's his hard-hitting strikes or picture-perfect grappling game, he's sure to leave you in a world of pain.

Adrian came from a very middle class background, raised by a single mother. His mother, who was working 2 jobs to be able to provide for him and his brother, was never there to pick him up from school. Every time the clock hit 3 PM, he'd be walking home from school with his little brother, Richard. Eventually, they found a group of kids who were just as big as wrestling fans as them. They would accompany the Hil brothers home to talk about wrestling, and a few weeks later, the kids would start their own backyard wrestling company. Obviously, it was as cringy as a backyard wrestling company filled with 12 year olds could be, but the kids were having fun so who cared? On his 15th birthday, Adrians mother surprised him by taking him to a wrestling school. Adrian would remain at this school and would make his independent debut at age 17. After a few matches, his trainers found out about the backyard matches he had done and informed him that they would no longer be training him. At this point in time, backyard wrestling was still seen as an act of foolery, which is why Adrian never informed his trainers about it. Thankfully, Adrian met a nice British man at one of the shows he was working, and after telling him the story, he offered to fly Adrian out to England and let him sleep on his couch so he could help train him. Fast forward a few years, and at age 21, Adrian returned back to the Canadian indies. He spent 3 years learning the British technical style while also studying old Japanese tapes. He fused the 2 styles and made a name for himself on the independents as one of the greatest pure wrestlers in not only the country, but the entire world. Now, at age 23, he's arguably in his athletic prime. Even though he has a poor attitude due to seeing the horrible nature of the wrestling business, companies can see the young, brightly shining star in front of them every time he enters the room. He's come to Project: Honor in hopes of showcasing his skills to a new audience and to further solidify his case as the best wrestler in the world.
